Watch for the following symptoms:
- More napping than usual
- Generally more tired
- Worse sleep, especially taking a while to fall asleep
- Restlessness at night
- Harder to wake up
- Worse productivity/more procrastination
- Irritability/getting easily annoyed at things/more easily frustrated
- Feeling like doing anything is like moving through molasses
Possible causes:
- Setback in goals
- Lack of purpose
- Overworked
- Too little visible success
- Too high expectations for self
- Doing too much in general
- Feeling what you're working on isn't making a difference/important
- Really wanting something to happen that just isn’t going to happen, you need to move on dude
In the event of those symptoms:
- Reduce work to the bare minimum responsibilities
- Get rid of all ambitions/grand goals
- Go outside, touch grass, look at animals
- Move your body around
- Do things you enjoy
- Talk to people, family, friends, anyone
- Reset goals to small, attainable, easy goals
- Rest
